NEW GLOBAL 6000 ADDITION
August 2017 - following the request from an existing customer, AMES will now count a brand new Bermuda registered Bombardier Global 6000 under CAMO contract. AMES is involved in the initial delivery process to prepare the entry into service. This is a new type added to our capability list.
BBJ SPLIT SCIMITAR WINGLET RETROFIT
March 2017 - One of our BBj under CAMO contract just performed a retrofit of its bended winglets for the latest technology Split Scimitar Winglets per FAA STC. The modification involved the reinforcement and modification of the wing structure as well as the winglet modification in the shop by APB authorized center. Beyond the cosmetic effect, the owner is expecting a slight range increase on the long flights.
May 2017 - AMES is working closely with Boeing to put into place the e-enabling process in order to maintain all the field loadable software on the 787 we have under contract. On its B787, Boeing has implemented a quite complex and secured way of controling the on-board software and AMES will be trained to manage the software management delivered from the Boeing on-line Library and to make them accessible on the maintenance laptop which will be used to load the LSAPs (Loadable Software Aircraft Part) on the plane.
